1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using EndéKada ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

EndéKada is a mostly offline point-of-sale (POS) and inventory management application designed for small retail shops. The App allows you to:

Manage product inventory, categories, and stock batches
Create and manage sales invoices and credit notes (refunds)
Configure shop profile details (name, address, GST, logo)
Generate PDF invoices and reports
Scan product barcodes using your device camera
Create and restore encrypted data backups
Manage staff access with role-based permissions

3. License

WorkshopTech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on a single device for personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not reverse engineer, modify, redistribute, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

4. Activation & Licensing

The App requires activation via a valid license key. Two types are available:

Trial license: 7 days of evaluation access.
Lifetime license: Permanent access on the activated device. Attempting to use unauthorized or shared keys may result in a temporary lockout.

5. Data Ownership

All business data you enter into the App is yours. WorkshopTech does not claim ownership of your data. You are solely responsible for its accuracy and for maintaining regular backups.

6. Data Storage & Backups

All data is stored locally on your device. The App provides backup and restore functionality which can be optionally encrypted. You are responsible for safeguarding your backup files and encryption passwords; lost passwords cannot be retrieved by WorkshopTech.

7. Crash Reporting (Optional)

The App may collect anonymous crash reports (error messages and app version) to improve stability. These reports do not include any business data or personal information. You can disable this in the Settings.

8. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. WorkshopTech does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

WorkshopTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App.

10. Compliance with Tax & Business Laws

You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all local tax laws, GST regulations, and accounting standards.

11. Updates

WorkshopTech may release updates with bug fixes or new features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
